County Jail Bookings
The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
- 5:09 a.m. Thursday – Michael Ruse, 30, of 403 E. Market St., South Whitley, arrested for driving while intoxicated. Bond: $550.
- 11:09 a.m. Thursday – Robert Williamson, 18, of 27 Pequinot Drive, Pierceton, arrested for battery and criminal mischief. Bond: $500.
- 11:12 a.m. Thursday – Leo Pruitt, 46, of 310 N. High St., Silver Lake, arrested for another agency. No bond set.
 
Property Damage Accidents
- 3:30 a.m. Sunday – 3620 N. Barbee Road, North Webster. Hit-skip. A vehicle registered to Jennifer Westberry, Frankton, was struck by an unknown vehicle. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department Investigated.
- 1:15 a.m. Monday – Intersection of Ind. 13 and South Shore Drive, Syracuse. One vehicle struck a deer. Driver: Ester Fisher, 50, North Kalorama Road, Leesburg. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.
- 2:30 a.m. Tuesday – Intersection of U.S. 30E and Arnolt Drive, Pierceton. One vehicle struck a deer. Driver: Jonathan Gaff, 32, North Penny Drive, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. KCSD.
- 7:42 a.m. Tuesday –  Intersection of CRs 450E and 1200N, Syracuse. One vehicle ran off road through a field of crops. Driver: Jaron Moore, 21, North CR 200E, Milford. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.
- 6:32 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Ind. 13S and CR 900S, Claypool. One vehicle struck a deer. Driver: Lucky Florian, 30, West Hilltop Lane, Silver Lake. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.
- 7:02 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of U.S. 30E and CR 150W, Warsaw. One vehicle struck a deer. Driver: Angela Oldham, 43, Baugher Drive, Tippecanoe. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
- 10:07 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of CR 1350N and CR 700W, Nappanee. Two-car collision. Drivers: James A. Dubois, 72, West CR 800N, Nappanee; Matthew D. Brace, 20, North CR 200W, Milford. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. KCSD.
- 3:26 p.m. Wednesday – 2535 U.S. 30E, Warsaw. Driver: Alisa Mock, 47, Wolcottville, struck a vehicle registered to Stephen Hand, South Southwood Drive, Warsaw. Damage: Less than $1,000. KCSD.
- 9:40 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of U.S. 30W and CR 700W, Warsaw. One vehicle struck a deer. Driver: Martin Hall, 53, Caledonia, Mich. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.

- 3:22 p.m. Friday – A man reported a theft in the 11000 block of West East Wawasee Drive, Syracuse. KCSD.
- 8:05 a.m. Sunday – A man reported a battery at EMS B9 Lane, Leesburg. KCSD.
- 12:20 p.m. Monday – A woman reported a theft in the 9100 block of West CR 125N, Etna Green. KCSD.
- 11:17 p.m. Tuesday – A man reported a burglary in the 400 block of South Cherry Street, Akron. KCSD.
- 10:51 a.m. Wednesday – A man was arrested for possession of paraphernalia in the 1200 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.
- 10:08 a.m. Thursday – Stephen Douglas Bauer, London, Ohio, reported a hit-skip accident to his vehicle. Damage: Less than $1,000. WPD.
- 8:13 p.m. Thursday – A burglary was reported on Walter Way, Warsaw. Loss: Less than $1,000. WPD.
