 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
n 12:05 a.m. Saturday – Jeremy L. Hartzell, 31, of 6966 Putter Place, Syracuse, arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more. Bond: $750.
n 3:43 a.m. Saturday – David B. Franklin Jr., 32, of 208 1/2 S. James St., Milford, arrested for battery. Bond: $500.
n 8:26 p.m. Saturday – Amanda C. Gibson, 32, of 111 S. Hickory St., Warsaw, arrested for criminal trespass. Bond: $300.
n 9:51 p.m. Saturday – Travis J. Dice, 33, of 144 Sand Hill Lane, Warsaw, arrested for receiving stolen property. Bond: $2,000.
n 2:29 a.m. Sunday – William W. Julian, 47, of 5129 N. CR 925E, North Webster, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $550.
n 6:18 p.m. Sunday – Nathan J. Megething, 19, Elizabethtown, Ky., arrested for operator never licensed. Bond: $500.

n 2:16 p.m. Sunday – CR 640N, 3,000 feet south of CR 800W, Warsaw. Vehicle struck deer. Driver: Barbara L. Griffey, 77, Elkhart. Damages: $1,000-$2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department investigated.
