The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
- 6:55 a.m. Tuesday - Bret Cooper, 18, of 2337 S. CR 900W, Mentone, arrested for dealing a controlled substance. Bond: $100,000.
- 7:14 a.m. Tuesday - Michael Lewis, 20, of 5153 W. Corlys Lane, Silver Lake, arrested for dealing a controlled substance. Bond: $100,000.
- 7:30 a.m. Tuesday - Dakota Wallace, 22, of 509 E. Rochester St., Akron, arrested for dealing a controlled substance. Bond: $100,000.
- 7:37 a.m. Tuesday - Travis Lewis, 18, of 5153 W. Corlys Lane, Silver Lake, arrested for dealing a controlled substance. Bond: $100,000.
- 8:38 a.m. Tuesday - Beau Ryman, 18, of 404 W. Harrison St., Mentone, arrested for minor possession or consumption of alcohol and driving while intoxicated. Bond: $550.
- 10:20 a.m. Tuesday - James Clark, 23, of 2584 E. CR 200N, Rochester, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $1,000.
- 11:35 a.m. Tuesday - Michael Hooker, 18, of 323 Lakeland Drive, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $15,000.
- 2:39 p.m. Tuesday - Antonio Castillo, 25, of 1912 Indian Trail, Warsaw, arrested for strangulation. Bond: $2,000.
- 4:41 p.m. Tuesday - Michael Shepherd, 28, of 107 N. High St., Warsaw, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000.

Property Damage Accidents
- 12:20 p.m. Tuesday - Intersection of Catherine and Main streets, Milford. One vehicle struck a train. Driver: Ralph Richard, 78, of New Paris. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department investigated.
- 12:48 p.m. Tuesday - Intersection of Eastlake Drive and Frontage Drive. Two car collision. Drivers: Audrianna Bastardo, 19, Mitchell Drive, Rochester, and Rachel Busz, 27, Blackford Drive, Tippecanoe. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

Warsaw Gets Past Goshen On Penalty Kicks, Advances
A September match between the Warsaw and Goshen girls soccer teams resulted in a 1-1 tie after a hard-fought match. Tuesday night, the two teams met for a second time on a much bigger stage: the opening round of the 3A girls soccer sectional tournament at Elkhart High School. With a winner having to emerge this time around, it came down to penalty kicks, with the Lady Tigers winning 5-3 after a 0-0 tie.
