County Jail Bookings
 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 9:09 p.m. Monday – Brandon Lee Kistler, 32, of 211 W. Jefferson St., Warsaw, arrested for public intoxication. Bond: $300.
• 1:30 p.m. Tuesday – Dustin Edward Pruitt, 24, of 310 N. High St., Silver Lake, arrested for criminal conversion, invasion of privacy, criminal mischief and failure to appear. Bond: $1,589.
• 2:59 p.m. Tuesday – Gregory Curtis Deboard, 49, Cromwell, arrested for parole violation. No bond set.
• 4:05 p.m. Tuesday – Michael Keith Albertson, 60, of 1801 Robin Drive, Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $300.
• 11:54 p.m. Tuesday – Travis James Lewis, 21, no address provided, arrested for probation violation. No bond set.

Property Damage Accidents
• 6:46 a.m. Tuesday – Intersection of Ind. 13 and East CR 850N, Syracuse. Vehicle ran off road and collided with a street sign and phone box. Driver: Alicia M. Catron, 31, Cromwell. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
• 7:43 a.m. Tuesday – Intersection of Chicago Street and Harkless Drive, Syracuse. Vehicle backed into another vehicle. Drivers: Ray O. Skelton, 78, Chicago Street, Syracuse; Jessica S. Weaver, 33, Edgewater Drive, Syracuse. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. Syracuse Police Department investigated.
• 6:36 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of Detroit and Canal streets, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Toria L. Schneider, 20, Pinewood Court, Brownsburg; Timothy L. Dombrosky, 27, Chamberlin Drive, Warsaw. Damages: $5,000 to $10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 7:37 a.m. Tuesday – Theft was reported in the 10600 block of South Shore Drive, Syracuse. KCSD.
• 1:07 p.m. Tuesday – Theft was reported in the 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. WPD.
• 10:42 p.m. Tuesday – Theft was reported in the 7000 block of South CR 100E, Claypool. KCSD.
• 10:50 p.m. Tuesday – A Warsaw man reported a broken window at his residence in the 900 block of Anchorage Road, Warsaw. WPD.

County Council Adopts 2025 Budget
Kosciusko County Council wrapped up the county’s 2025 budget by adopting the ordinance for it on second reading Thursday evening. The first reading of the budget ordinance was held Sept. 12.

TVHS Renovations Expected To Be ‘Substantially Complete' By Month’s End
AKRON — Work on Tippecanoe Valley High School's renovation project should be "substantially complete" by the end of October, said The Skillman Corp. Project Manager Scott Rogers.
