The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
- 7:32 a.m. Thursday – Moses Lloyd, 33, of 1821 Nye St., Warsaw, arrested for resisting/fleeing law enforcement and possession of marijuana. Bond: $500.
- 9:35 a.m. Thursday – Ronald Lee Truex, 48, of 401 S. Main St., Nappanee, arrested for probation violation. Bond: $750.
- 10:30 a.m. Thursday – Heather Smith, 32, of 1470 E. CR 550S, Warsaw, arrested for non-support. Bond: $7,500.
- 11:12 a.m. Thursday – Tad Vandermark, 37, of 4444 E. CR 1300N, Syracuse, arrested for battery. Bond: $500.
- 11:33 a.m. Thursday – Kameron Akers, 20, of 1201 S. CR 1325E, Akron, arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Bond: $2,000.
- 12:05 p.m. Thursday – Shane Hovenden, 20, of 707 E. Center St., Warsaw, arrested for minor possession/consumption of alcohol. Bond: $300.
- 2:31 p.m. Thursday – Dan Khailo, 35, Ligonier, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $1,000.
- 4:30 p.m. Thursday – Troy Stuart Zartman, 22, of 5000 N. CR 150W, Warsaw, arrested for escape. Bond: $5,000.
- 7:27 p.m. Thursday – Tammy Lewis, 21, of 7881 E. CR 500S, Pierceton, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000.
- 9:14 p.m. Thursday – Randy Lewallen, 56, of 391 EMS W17, North Webster, arrested for being a habitual traffic offender. Bond: $5,000.
- 9:39 p.m. Thursday – Margaret Andrews, 38, of 7940 Bowyer Lake Drive, Rochester, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000.
- 9:58 p.m. Thursday – Eric Andrews, 39, of 7940 Bowyer Lake  Drive, Rochester, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000
- 1:56 a.m. Friday – Angel Flores, 37, of 3762 W. Old 30, Warsaw, arrested for driving while intoxicated. Bond: $550.        

Property Damage Accidents
- 7:40 a.m. Thursday – Intersection of CR 700W and Ind. 25, Burket. One vehicle rolled over. Driver: Zachary Nordman, 17, South CR 700 West, Burket. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
- 10:27 a.m. Thursday – Intersection of South Washington Street and alley south of Prairie Street, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Chun Chow, 68, East Harmony Court, Winona Lake; Christy Myers, 38, South Columbia Street, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
- 2:53 p.m. Thursday – 920 Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Sarah Cowan, 25, Anchorage Road, Warsaw; Laura Deleon, 27, Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.
- 3:10 p.m. Thursday – 1916 CR 850E, Pierceton. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Kelly Neace, 46, North CR 900 East, Pierceton; David Langdon, 56, Fort Wayne. Damage: less than $1,000. KCSD.

Warsaw Gets Past Goshen On Penalty Kicks, Advances
A September match between the Warsaw and Goshen girls soccer teams resulted in a 1-1 tie after a hard-fought match. Tuesday night, the two teams met for a second time on a much bigger stage: the opening round of the 3A girls soccer sectional tournament at Elkhart High School. With a winner having to emerge this time around, it came down to penalty kicks, with the Lady Tigers winning 5-3 after a 0-0 tie.
