n 10:34 a.m. Wednesday – Oscar W. Tipton, 40, of 9287 S. Amanda Drive, Claypool, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $1,000.
n 10:41 a.m. Wednesday – Brittany M. Wright, 26, of 312 Birchwood Court, Warsaw, arrested for probation violation. Bond: $5,000.
n 8:55 p.m. Wednesday – Juan L. Fuentes, 22, of 3104 E. Wooster Road, Pierceton, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $10,000.
n 12:57 a.m. Thursday – Shaun M. Daffron, 33, of 8228 N. Ind. 15, Pierceton, arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 to .14 percent. Bond: $550.
n 2:50 p.m. Thursday – Dustin J. Settersburg, 20, of 215 Stonewall Court, Nappanee, arrested for theft less than $100,000 in value. Bond: $5,000.
n 4:21 p.m. Thursday – Bradley Waikel, 24, of 550 Country Club Road, Warsaw, arrested for neglect of dependant of education with serious bodily injury. Bond: $10,000.
n 5:02 p.m. Thursday – Mark A. Harness, 55, of 2578 E. Evergreen Drive, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .15 percent or more. Bond: $550.
n 5:03 p.m. Thursday – Justin B. Davis, 38, of 6019 W. CR 600S, Claypool, arrested for battery. Bond: $500.
n 11:06 p.m. Thursday – Gregory P. Scott, 48, of 5737 S. Woodland Lane, Warsaw, arrested for nonsupport of a dependent child. No bond set.
n 11:25 p.m. Thursday – Carrie A. Faas-Sechrist, 40, of 5523 Ind. 14, South Whitley, arrested for possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Bond: $25,000.

n 3:05 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of Winona Avenue and Lake Street, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Thomas G. Rusinack, 47, Packerton Road, Warsaw; Tammy L. Nolan, 39, CR 525S, Claypool. Injuries: Nolan's passenger, Brenda K. Grubbs, 66, Old 30, Warsaw, complained of pain in her chest and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damages: $1,000-$2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
n 10:04 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of Center Street and Leiter Drive, Warsaw. Vehicle struck deer. Driver: Gary L. Shuey, 41, Market Street, Warsaw. Injuries: Shuey suffered cuts to his face from breaking glass and was treated on-scene by medics. Damages: $2,500-$5,000. WPD.
n 4 a.m. Friday – Ind. 13, 50 feet north of CR 1000N, Syracuse. Vehicle struck utility pole. Driver. Jeffery L. Brewer, 29, U.S. 30, Pierceton. Injuries: Brewer complained of pain in both ankles and his back and was transported to KCH. Damages: $10,000-$25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department investigated.

SOUTH BEND — After a year of collaboration, data analysis and community engagement, the Michiana Area Council of Governments (MACOG) unveiled Move Safe Michiana – the Regional Transportation Safety Action Plan. This comprehensive strategy addresses roadway safety in St. Joseph, Elkhart, Kosciusko and Marshall counties and is now available for public review and comment until June 9.
