County Jail Bookings
The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
- 5:08 a.m. Tuesday – Jerry Hyde, 46, of 11260 N. Syracuse/Webster Road, Syracuse, arrested for being a habitual traffic violator. Bond: $5,000.
- 11:33 a.m. Tuesday – Jeremiah Eckert, 31, of 212 E. Church St., Pierceton, arrested on an out of county warrant. No bond set.
- 6:21 p.m. Tueday – Chans Cochran, 18, of 1908 Ironwood Drive, Warsaw, arrested for aggravated battery. Bond: $5,000.
- 9:55 p.m.  Tuesday – Louis Jones, 48, of 425 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, arrested for dealing a controlled substance. Bond: $50,000.
- 11:42 p.m. Tuesday – Craig Fannin, 37, of 704 S. Syracuse/Webster Road, Syracuse, arrested for battery. Bond: $500.

Personal Injury Accidents
- 3:57 a.m. April 18 – Intersection of Ind. 13 N. and CR 1000 N., Syracuse. One vehicle struck a utility pole. Driver: Drew Phares, 32, Goshen. Injuries: Phares complained of pain to his lower foot and leg. Damage: $10,000 to $25,000. KCSD.
- 4:46 p.m. Friday – Intersection of Ind. 15 N. and CR 800N, Leesburg. One vehicle ran off the road and rolled several times. Driver: Nicole Watts, 17, W. Van Buren St., Leesburg. Injuries: Watts complained of shoulder, neck and arm pain. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. KCSD.  
- 8:43 a.m. Monday – Interesection of CRs 400 W. and 200S,Warsaw. Two vehicle collision. Drivers: Gerardo Montes-Bermal, 22, E. Levi Lee Road, Warsaw and Pamela Mort, 50, South CR 400W, Warsaw. Injuries: Bernal complained of pain throughout his entire body, Mort complained of pain throughout her entire body and Michael D. Mort, South CR 400W, Warsaw, a passenger in Mort’s vehicle complained of chest pain. Damage: $10,000 to $20,000. KCSD.

Property Damage Accidents
- 4:45 a.m. Saturday – Intersection of Ind. 13 N. and CR 900 N., Syracuse. One vehicle struck a deer. Driver: David Slater, 40, East 200 North, Pierceton. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. KCSD.
- 1:10 p.m. Monday – Intersection of Warner Road and CR 1300 N., Syracuse. Vehicle went off road. Driver: Kraig Fisher, 34, Elkhart. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.
- 4:04 p.m. Monday – Intersection of U.S. 30 E. and Springhill Drive, Warsaw. Two vehicle collision.  Drivers: Daniel Martin, 36, West North Street, Bourbon and Joseph Jancauskas, 50, Dayton, Ohio. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

- 9:03 p.m. Thursday – A woman reported finding methamphetamine in the 100 block of Robmar Drive, Warsaw. WPD.
- 12:38 p.m. Thursday – A woman reported a theft in the 1400 block of  North  CR 800 West, Warsaw. WPD.
- 7:33 a.m. Friday – A man reported a theft in the 900 block of North Detroit Street, Warsaw. WPD.
- 9:56 a.m. Friday – A woman reported an attempted burglary in the 1200 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.
- 5:48 p.m. Friday – A woman reported a theft in the 700 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.
- 8:35 a.m. Saturday – A woman reported a theft in the 3000 block of Old Colony Road, Warsaw. WPD.
- 8:59 a.m. Monday – A woman reported criminal mischief in the 200 block of North Lincoln Street, Warsaw. WPD.
- 11:23 a.m. Monday – A man reported a theft on EMS T17 Lane, Leesburg. KCSD.
