The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 11:58 a.m. Tuesday - Chadd L. Shumaker, 25, of 1822 Nye St., Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $15,000.

• 1:38 p.m. Tuesday - Jaytindra C. Patel, 30, Goshen, arrested for failure to comply. Bond: $5,000.

• 1:46 p.m. Tuesday - Cameron Caton Bowers, 19, Middlebury, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set.

• 5:15 p.m. Tuesday - Tanner Logan Garris, 18, of 2032 W. CR 1200S, Silver Lake, arrested for felony theft. No bond set.

• 9:44 p.m. Tuesday - Shaylee Rae Holcomb, 18, of 604 W. Portland St., Syracuse, arrested on two counts of failure to appear, misdemeanor conversion and a probation violation. Bond: $46,000.

• 10:16 p.m. Tuesday - Michael Shane Burdeau, 41, of 3511 17th Road, Bourbon, arrested for check deception. Bond: $275.

• 11:39 p.m. Tuesday - Juan Antonio Gonzalez, 28, of 421 Reed St., Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery. Bond: $500.

• 12:24 a.m. today - Tiffany Gayle Flores, 24, Westland, Mich., arrested for failure to appear, misdemeanor battery, misdemeanor conversion, two counts of leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Bond: $1,750.

• 9:58 a.m. Friday - CR 1300N, 1,200 feet west of CR 600W, Milford. Pickup hit fence. Driver: Michael D. Hochstetler, 19, First Street, Nappanee. Damage: Less than $750. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department investigated.

• 10:21 a.m. Saturday - Parking lot of Family Dollar, Silver Lake. Car hit utility pole. Driver: Kevin A. Linehan, 53, CR 950S, Silver Lake. Damage: $750-$1,000. KCSD.

• 9:32 p.m. Tuesday - Intersection of Main Street and Fort Wayne Avenue, Warsaw. Car hit two parked cars registered to Office Concepts Inc., Fort Wayne, and Mark S. Till, Main Street, Warsaw. Driver: Tiffany G. Flores, 24, Westland, Mich. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 1:11 p.m. Tuesday - Intersection of Winona Avenue and High Street, Warsaw. Three-vehicle collision. Drivers: Omer D. Lambright, 24, Goshen; Kristin H. Sales, 19, Fishers; Cary P. Groninger, 39, Shilling Road, Mentone. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. WPD.

• 6:14 p.m. Saturday - Terry Young, Old 30, Pierceton, reported a break-in to his residence and the theft of a saw, a planer, a laundry table, 35 scrap radiators, eight door frames with solid maple doors, four tents, miscellaneous tools and miscellaneous garage sale items. KCSD.

• 5:50 p.m. Sunday - Eugene Slone, CR 300S, Warsaw, reported a rock was thrown at his box truck. KCSD.

• 4:32 p.m. Monday - Betty and Mark Jackson, CR 400S, Pierceton, reported a break-in to their residence and the theft of 11 guns and a flatscreen television with a built-in DVD player. Loss: $6,850. KCSD.

• 5:47 p.m. Tuesday - An employee of Speedway, Winona Avenue, Warsaw, reported a possible internal theft. WPD.

Lehman Receives 8-Year Sentence For Conspiracy To Commit Murder
ALBION - For his involvement in the murder of Laurel Jean Mitchell in 1975, John W. Lehman, 69, Auburn, was sentenced Friday to eight years in the Indiana Department of Corrections on the charge of conspiracy to commit murder, a Class A felony.
