The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
n 4:39 p.m. Thursday – Sheena Marie Spears, 20, of 1515 Maye St., Wasaw, arrested for battery. Bond: $500.
n 9:11 p.m. Thursday – Tabath Marie Keplinger, 21, of 3748 E. CR 500N, Warsaw, arrested for driving without a license. Bond: $350.
n 10:47 p.m. Thursday – Colt Anthony Johnson, 18, of 7271 W. Ind. 25, Mentone, arrested for public intoxication, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Bond: $2,000.
n 11:21 p.m. Thursday – Jesus Alejandro, Gutirrez, 19, of 12543 E. CR 300S, Akron, arrested for refusal to submit to chemical testing and possession of marijuana.
n 11:46 p.m. Thursday – Jeremy Kane Ott, 39, of 36 EMS D21 Lan,e Syracuse, arrested for driving while intoxicated. Bond: $750.
n 12:58 a.m. today – Joshua Scott Hershberger, 21, of Kokomo, arrested for possession of marijuana, driving while suspended and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $450.

n 3 p.m. Thursday – Ind. 19, 2,600 feet south of CR 250N, Etna Green. Pickup went off road. Driver: David L. Holloway, 75, Macy. Damage: $2,500-$5,000.

n Thursday – A Freedom Express employee, West State Street, Etna Green, reported a theft. KCSD.
n Thursday – Bill Kolter, West Dustys Road, Mentone, reported an attempted fraud. KCSD.
n 7:15 p.m. Thursday – Peggy Scott, 79 EMS D25 Lane, Syracuse, reported the theft of a paddle boat. KCSD.
