• 8:12 a.m. Wednesday - Joshua Jeffrey Puckett, 23, of 1765 E. CR 300S, Warsaw, arrested for misdemeanor battery. Bond: $1,000.

• 8:41 a.m. Wednesday - Robert Anthony Flowers Jr., 26, of 1101 E. Winona Avenue, Warsaw, arrested for aggravated battery. Bond: $2,000.

• 10:34 a.m. Wednesday - Veronica Ann Grothaus, 20, Chicago Heights, Ill., arrested for criminal mischief and failure to appear. Bond: $750.

• 1:13 p.m. Wednesday - Gabriel Michael Plew, 29, of 207 Gilliam Drive, Warsaw, arrested for public intoxication. Bond: $300.

• 2:42 p.m. Wednesday - Burton Jay Blackmer, 27, of 411 S. Main St., Bourbon, arrested for operating an illegal drug lab. Bond: $10,000.

• 3:02 p.m. Wednesday - Ismael Rodriguez, aka Paramon Rodriguez, 37, of 1202 E. Wooster Road, Winona Lake, arrested for dealing cocaine/narcotics. Bond: $20,000.

• 3:03 p.m. Wednesday - Jose Andrade, 44, Port Chester, N.Y., arrested for dealing cocaine/narcotics. Bond: $20,000.

• 4:38 p.m. Wednesday - Billie Lynn Mireles, aka, Billie Lynn Baldridge, 31, of 527 E. Market St., Warsaw, arrested for dealing marijuana. Bond: $50,000.

• 10:51 p.m. Wednesday - Domingo Melendez III, 27, of 302 Henry St., Milford, arrested for misdemeanor battery. Bond: $500.

• 11:08 p.m. Wednesday - Marco Antonio Malagon, 18, of 1822 Crescent Drive, Warsaw, arrested for failure to comply. Bond: $350.

• 12:36 a.m. today - Nicole Lynn Wagner, 19, of 2095 E. CR 1000N, North Manchester, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $500.

• 2:30 a.m. today - Tarzan Prater, 43, of 1887 W. CR 800S, Claypool, arrested for public intoxication. Bond: $300.

• 9:11 p.m. Monday - Intersection of Armstrong Road and EMS T25 Lane, Leesburg. Pickup hit utility pole. Driver: Daniel Hagan, 18, EMS B22 Lane, Pierceton. Injury: Hagan suffered an internal chest injury. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department investigated.

• 11:13 a.m. March 15 - An employee of Phend Brown, CR 600N, Leesburg, reported the theft of 600 feet of marine cable wire and 400 feet of welding cable from the business. KCSD.

• 2:19 p.m. Sunday - Mark Davis, Excalibur Place, Cromwell, reported damage to a tire on his vehicle. KCSD.

• 1:16 p.m. Wednesday - An employee of REMC, Governor's Road, Columbia City, reported holes cut in a chain-link fence. Damage: $200. WPD.

• 2:15 p.m. Wednesday - An employee of Iglesia Betesda Church, McCellan Street, Warsaw, reported damage to an overhang and roof of the church. Damage: $1,500. WPD.

Sheriff Addressed Issues In The Jail Since Taking Office
Once taking office I knew how important it was going to be to have the right leadership in every division of the office, and the jail was certainly no exception. Upon taking office, I appointed Lt. Kevin Gelbaugh as the jail commander and Chad Marsh as the assistant jail commander, and to say I am proud of all their work and accomplishments would be an understatement.
