 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
n 11:50 p.m. Tuesday – Joseph J. Bradley, 53, of 208 S. Clay St., Claypool, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct. Bond: $550.
n 3:05 p.m. Wednesday – Victor V. Patino, 44, Fort Wayne, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $15,000.
n 3:08 p.m. Wednesday – Scott E. Cochran, 30, Columbia City, arrested for leaving the scene of an accident. No bond set.
n 8:28 p.m. Wednesday – Allen J. Kalabsa, 36, of 42 EMS B60 Lane, Warsaw, arrested for possession of chemical reagents, precursors of meth with the intent to manufacture, possession of meth over three grams and dealing, delivering, and manufacturing meth. No bond set.
n 9 p.m. Wednesday – Rita M. Collins, 50, of 5760 W. Decoy Road, Mentone, arrested for theft less than $100,000 in value. Bond: $2,000.
n 12:12 a.m. Thursday – Rebecca J. Samonski, 40, of 1139 E. Lantern Road, Warsaw, arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of a schedule I, II, III or IV controlled substance without doctor's order. Bond: $2,000.
n 12:22 a.m. Thursday – Ezekiel D. Fitzpatrick, 18, of 316 S. Lake St., Warsaw, arrested for possession of marijuana. Bond: $450.[[In-content Ad]]

NORTH MANCHESTER – At Wednesday night's meeting, the North Manchester Town Council voted to award the Manchester Early Learning Center (MELC) the requested $25,000 toward the Center's efforts. This is a reduced request from 2024.
