County Jail Bookings
The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

- 6:05 p.m. Tuesday – Jason Dewie Isbell, 32, of 748 N. Lake St., Warsaw, arrested for battery. Bond: $750.
- 11:09 p.m. Tuesday – Kevin Dwayne Shepherd, 42, of 208 S. Third St., Pierceton, arrested for battery. Bond: $500.
- 1:32 a.m. today – Shane Andrew Timmons, 24, of 602 N. Harrison St., Syracuse, arrested for failure to appear and disorderly conduct. Bond: $300.

Property Damage Accident
- 12:46 p.m. Monday – 3350 Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Pickup-car collision. Drivers: Brandon L. Fore, 35, South CR 600W, Mentone; Kimberly S. McCoy, 22, Knox. Damage: $1,000–$2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

- 2:55 p.m. Friday – A Warsaw woman reported a theft of items from her vehicle. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
- 8:08 p.m. Friday – Devin Clay McFadden, South Beaver Dam Road, Claypool, reported a hit-skip accident to his vehicle. Damage: Less than $1,000. WPD.
- 8:22 p.m. Friday – A Warsaw man reported being threatened. KCSD.
- Saturday – A Warsaw man reported a theft from a farm on South CR 550W, Warsaw. KCSD.
- 5:12 p.m. Saturday – A Warsaw woman reported vehicles on her tire were slashed. WPD.
- 8:48 p.m. Saturday – A Silver Lake man reported a theft of items from a shed in the 50000 block of Corly Lane, Silver Lake. KCSD.
- 5 a.m. Sunday – An Etna Green woman reported the theft of a vehicle. KCSD.
-  Sunday – A Warsaw man reported a theft from a residence at EMS B61 Lane, Warsaw. KCSD.
- Monday – A Claypool woman reported the theft of a purse. KCSD.
- 12:30 a.m. Monday – A Cromwell man reported his vehicles tires had been slashed. KCSD.
- 7:22 a.m. Monday – A Warsaw man reported the theft of a purse. WPD.
- 8:36 a.m. Monday – A Warsaw man reported the theft of a dog on North Park Avenue, Warsaw. WPD.
- 11 p.m. Monday – A Warsaw man reported the theft of tools from a truck. WPD.
- 4:55 p.m. Monday – Two vehicles were reported to have been broken into in the 3000 block of Myrtle Glenn Road, Silver Lake. KCSD.
- 1:25 a.m. Tuesday – A Milford woman reported being threatened. WPD.

Atwood Otterbein Church To Celebrate 98th Anniversary
ATWOOD – The congregation at Atwood Otterbein Church will celebrate the 98th anniversary of the building of their church at 306 E. Main St., Atwood, on Sunday at their 9:30 a.m. service. The congregation celebrates its Heritage Day each May.

Marilyn E. Wagner, of Warsaw and formerly of North Webster, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the age of 82.

Deloris J. Bradley
Deloris J. Bradley, 71, of Hamlet, entered the Heavenly gates on Monday, April 28, 2025, peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.
