The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

n 6:58 a.m. Friday - Kody Allen Bevins, 18, of 11730 N. Elm Grove Drive, Syracuse, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $300.

n 12:49 p.m. Friday - Jason Robert Melcher, 28, of 301 7th St., Winona Lake, arrested for probation violation. Bond: $500.

n 3:44 p.m. Friday - Jeremy James King, 36, of 223 W. Jefferson St., Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $300.

n 4:23 p.m. Friday - Paula Marie Fitzpatrick, 33, of 313 S. Lake St., Warsaw, arrested on a warrant in a civil matter. Bond: $1,000.

n 5:20 p.m. Friday - Roberto Acuahuitl, 42, of 3104 Wooster Road, Pierceton, arrested for being a habitual traffic offender. Bond: $5,000.

n 3:16 p.m. Tuesday - Intersection of Rainbow Lane and Crooked Lane, Syracuse. Two-car collision. Drivers: Richard C. Patton, 38, EMS T34 Lane, Leesburg; Keith G. Cripe, 52, Beau Peep Lane, Cromwell. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Kosciusko Sheriff's Depatment investigated.

n 2:53 a.m. Tuesday - Nancy Sparkman, Rockabye Road, Cromwell, reported an auto theft. KCSD.

n Midnight. Wednesday - John L. Pfefferle, Robinhood Road, Cromwell, reported an attempted theft of an abandoned vehicle. KCSD.

n Midnight Wednesday - Jorge Torres, CR 450N, Cromwell, reported an attempted theft of an abandoned vehicle. KCSD.

n Wednesday - Amanda N. Beverly, CR 300S, Warsaw, reported an invasion of privacy. KCSD.

n Wednesday - Chris F. Sessa, South Meadow Drive, Warsaw, reported an identity theft. KCSD.

n 12:30 a.m. Wednesday - Jari L. Wietfeldt, U.S. 30, Pierceton, reported a snow plow hit her vehicle. KCSD.

n 4:31 p.m. Wednesday - Kathleen Titus, Sheridan Street, Warsaw, reported a hit-skip accident. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
