• 12:14 p.m. Tuesday - Jodi Jolean Phillips, 21, of 230 Roosevelt St., Warsaw, arrested for neglect of a dependent. Bond: $2,000.

• 1:04 p.m. Tuesday - Christopher M. Felton, 25, of 10582 S. Pleasant St., Silver Lake,arrested for driving while intoxicated. Bond: $750.

• 2:27 p.m. Tuesday - Jeffery Michael Lackey, 33, of 5107 S. CR 300E, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear and on an out-of-county warrant. Bond: $126.

• 4:53 p.m. Tuesday - Ociel Castelan Jaimes, 36, of 207 Leedy St., Warsaw, arrested for misdemeanor battery. Bond: $500.

• 6:25 p.m. Monday - Old 30, 2,000 feet west of Ind. 13N, Pierceton. Pickup hit deer. Driver: Kyle Schultz, 19, CR 250S, Warsaw. Damage: $750-$1,000. KCSD.

• 7:54 a.m. Monday - An employee of Quality Masonry, CR 800S, South Whitley, reported the theft of two kerosene heaters from a work site on Dresden Road, Warsaw. Value: $700. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department investigated.

• 9:24 a.m. Monday - An employee of Garber Framing, CR 500W, South Whitley, reported the theft of a microwave oven, three air felts guns, four drills, a reciprocating aw, a router, six spikers, five staple guns, a joist anger gun, an air glue gun, five circular saws, wood and a hammer from a work site on CR 300N, Warsaw. KCSD.

• 11:13 a.m. Monday - An employee of Lowe's, Jalynn Street, Warsaw, reported receiving a fraudulent check. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 12:11 p.m. Monday - Robert Johnson, Harper Road, Leesburg, reported the theft of a 1992 Camaro and a cordless drill. Value: $1,700. KCSD.

• 9:08 a.m. Tuesday - An employee of Harrison School, Husky Trail, Warsaw, reported a possible battery incident. WPD.

Lehman Receives 8-Year Sentence For Conspiracy To Commit Murder
ALBION - For his involvement in the murder of Laurel Jean Mitchell in 1975, John W. Lehman, 69, Auburn, was sentenced Friday to eight years in the Indiana Department of Corrections on the charge of conspiracy to commit murder, a Class A felony.
