The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

- 9:42 a.m. Tuesday - Jeannie Renee Crace, 37, of 77 Kings Highway, Winona Lake, arrested on an outstanding warrant. Bond: $600.
- 11:17 a.m. Tuesday - Fernando Malagon, 20, of 1822 Crescent Drive, Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $300.
- 12:35 p.m. Tuesday - Kyle David Dehart, 19, of 11136 N. CR 450E, Syracuse, arrested for driving while intoxicated. No bond set.
- 1:04 p.m. Tuesday - Laurianne Foster, 32, of 3699 N. CR 175E, Warsaw, arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Bond: $2.000.
- 1:18 p.m. Tuesday - Jessica Dawn Konkle, 32, of 309 Main St., Mentone, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000.
- 3:03 p.m. Tuesday - Bradley Alan Sroufe, 28, of 529 S. CR 325E, Warsaw, arrested for home improvement fraud. Bond: $5,000.

- 2:12  p.m. Monday - Intersection of East Center and Detroit streets, Warsaw. Two-vehicle hit-skip accident. Driver: Billy Hunley, 65, CR 52, Syracuse was rear-ended. Damage: Less than $1,000. WPD.
- 6:58 a.m. Tuesday - Intersection of Ind. 15 N. and Poor Drive, Warsaw. One vehicle struck a utility pole. Driver: Tena Huffer, 45, East Main St., Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.
- 7:10 a.m. Tuesday - Intersection of U.S. 30 W and Orthopedic Drive, Warsaw. Two vehicle collision. Drivers: Bobby McFarthing, 61, Fort Wayne, Jason Smith, 31, Huntington. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.
- 7:13 a.m. Tuesday - Intersection of Ranch Road and Fawley Street., Warsaw. One vehicle struck a  utility pole. Driver: Joseph Erickson, 18, West CR 200S, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.
- 7:30 a.m. Tuesday - Intersection of CR 300S. and Woodland Trail, Warsaw. One vehicle struck a telephone junction box. Driver: Michael Yantz, 17, West CR 350S, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department investigated.
- 7:33 a.m. Tuesday - Intersection of Pope and South Detroit streets, Warsaw. Two car collision. Drivers: Danielle Bolinger, 17, Noblesville, Kevin Cao, 17, Stratford Drive, Winona Lake. Damage: $1,000 to  $2,500. WPD.

County Council Adopts 2025 Budget
Kosciusko County Council wrapped up the county’s 2025 budget by adopting the ordinance for it on second reading Thursday evening. The first reading of the budget ordinance was held Sept. 12.
