 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 3:32 p.m. Wednesday – Logan Ray Hontz, 28, Churubusco, arrested for probation violation. Bond: $1,500.
• 3:48 p.m. Wednesday – Poe Cho, 23, Fort Wayne, arrested for public intoxication. No bond set.
• 3:53 p.m. Wednesday – Kenneth James Graff, 20, of 5204 N. CR 925E, North Webster, arrested for sexual misconduct with a minor. No bond set.
• 8:05 p.m. Wednesday – Kenneth Ray Stout, 35, of 120 N. 4th Street, North Manchester, arrested for theft. Bond: $1,000.
• 11:44 p.m. Wednesday – Joshua Anthony Wolf, 30, of 4271 S. Mallard Road, Mentone, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Bond: $1,000.

• 12 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Ind. 25 and Ferguson Road, Warsaw. Vehicle left roadway. Driver: Theresa R. Fisher, 57, Ind. 25, Mentone. Injuries: Fisher was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital with minor head bleeding. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
• 3:33 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Center and Roosevelt streets, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Rhonda M. Prater, 46, Laurelwood Drive, Warsaw; Adolfo Rodriguez, 57, Tepee Drive, Warsaw. Injuries: Prater complained of face pain. Damages: $5,000 to $10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 7:13 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Detroit Street and CR 350N, Warsaw. Two-vehicle rear-end collision. Drivers: Sara L. Olds, 22, Lee Road, Warsaw; Christopher R. Dausman, 19, East CR 550N, Leesburg. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD.
• 8:14 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Ind. 15 and West CR 1100N, Milford. Driver lost control of vehicle and went into a ditch. Driver: Dhrithi Ail, 25,  Indianapolis. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. KCSD.
• 8:53 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Backwater Road and Ind. 13, North Webster. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Ian K. Ross, 78, EMS W30A, North Webster; Thomas L. Spurling, 67, North CR 1000W, Etna Green. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. North Webster Police Department investigated.
• 5:42 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Lake City Highway and East CR 200N, Warsaw. Two-vehicle rear-end collision. Drivers: Heather A. Jones, 38, Walnut Street, Etna Green; Lawrence G. Richey, 58, Prairie Street, Leesburg. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.

Sheriff Addressed Issues In The Jail Since Taking Office
Once taking office I knew how important it was going to be to have the right leadership in every division of the office, and the jail was certainly no exception. Upon taking office, I appointed Lt. Kevin Gelbaugh as the jail commander and Chad Marsh as the assistant jail commander, and to say I am proud of all their work and accomplishments would be an understatement.

PIERCETON — The town of Pierceton's 2025 budget was adopted Monday evening by the council, following no additional comments. The budget totals $1,588,620, with an adopted tax levy of $329,605 and a tax rate of $0.6263.
