 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
n 9:52 p.m. Friday – James A. Ault, 50, of 510 S. First St., Pierceton, arrested for theft – less than $100,000 in value. Bond: $2,500.
n 12:38 a.m. Friday – John Stuart Rogers Sr., 53, of 401 E. Sycamore St., Silver Lake, arrested for battery. Bond: $500.

n 8:55 a.m. Saturday – 109 W. State St., Etna Green. Vehicle hit parked vehicle. Driver: Frank D. Haffer, 86, West Snyder Road, Warsaw. Damages: $750 to $1,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
n 3:55 p.m. Saturday – Intersection of West U.S. 30 and North CR 800W, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Driver: Esther L. May, 76, South Nellie Boulevard, Claypool; Terry L. Leek, 55, Hepler Drive, Warsaw. Damages: $10,000 to $25,000. KCSD.
n 5:17 p.m. Saturday – West Crystal Lake Road, 750 feet east of South CR 600W, Warsaw. Vehicle struck deer. Driver: Constance J. Jordan, 78, West Crystal Lake Road, Warsaw. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.
n 5:46 p.m. Saturday – Intersection of East Armstrong Road and EMS T25 Lane, Warsaw. Vehicle struck deer. Driver: E.D. Jones, 48, West Prairie Street, Leesburg. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.
n 7:10 a.m. Sunday – Intersection of Rozella Road and South Briarwood Drive, Warsaw. Vehicle struck deer. Driver: Nora George, 53, Heron Boulevard, Warsaw. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. KCSD.
n 2:26 p.m. Sunday – Intersection of West Old 30 and North Riverwood Ranch Road, Warsaw. Vehicle struck deer. Driver: Devon Green, 28, Bridge Port, Conn. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. KCSD.
n 7:04 p.m. Sunday – Intersection of East Winona Avenue and South Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Melinda D. Wells, 27, Roann; Casey D. McClain, 22, Roann. Damages: $5,000 to $10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

n midnight Sunday – A Warsaw man reported the theft of a handgun from his vehicle in the 2200 block of West CR 200S. KCSD.
n 3:04 a.m. Sunday – County dispatch received a call of a suicidal subject with a knife in the 3500 block of East Old 30, Warsaw. KCSD.
n 5:30 a.m. Sunday – Police received a report of battery from a woman at Kosciusko Community Hospital. WPD.
n 12:50 p.m. Sunday – Officers responded to a report of an unresponsive subject in the 500 block of Sophie Lane, Warsaw. WPD.
n 1:03 p.m. Sunday – Officers responded to a report of a juvenile male shoplifter at Kohl’s in Warsaw and released the boy to his mother at the store. WPD.
n 8:17 p.m. Sunday – An intoxicated male subject was reported getting into someone’s unlocked vehicle in the 3600 block of North CR 175E, Warsaw. KCSD.
