 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 12:08 a.m. Saturday – Tad Joseph Edwards, 25, of 3160 N. Stoneburner Road, Warsaw, arrested for possession of marijuana. Bond: $20,000.
• 2:36 a.m. Saturday – Angel Marie Buck, 26, Fort Wayne, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Bond: $700.
• 3:10 a.m. Saturday – Cory Ryan Vaillancourt, 25, Topeka, arrested for public intoxication. Bond: $400.
• 4:25 a.m. Saturday – Shelby O’Brien Kelly, 26, of 104 N. East St., Milford, arrested for public intoxication; failure to stop after an accident; resisting law enforcement; and providing false information. Bond: $750.
• 12:17 a.m. Sunday – Sara Nicole Stidams, 36, of 3441 E. CR 1450N, North Manchester, arrested for public intoxication. Bond: $400.
• 12:47 a.m. Sunday – Jacob Paul Miller, 42, of 3441 E. CR 1450N, North Manchester, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.
• 4:30 a.m. Sunday – Joseph Ryan Norton, 22, Marion, Ohio, arrested on an out of state warrant. Bond: $600.
• 8:54 a.m. Sunday – Severiano Argumedo, 41, of 2441 W. CR 250S, Warsaw, arrested for driving without a valid license. Bond: $500.
• 12:44 p.m. Sunday – Erica Rose Pruitt, 23, of 905 S. Harkless Drive, Syracuse, arrested for neglect of a dependent and disorderly conduct – noise. Bond: $5,250.
• 5:45 p.m. Sunday – Kenneth Riley Schnitz, 65, of 1906 Sand Castle Drive, Warsaw, arrested for habitual traffic violations – life. Bond: $10,250.
• 8:08 p.m. Sunday – James Robert Roder, 30, of 3616 W. CR 700S, Claypool, arrested for battery. No bond set.

Personal Injury Accidents
• 4:19 a.m. Sunday – West Crystal Lake Road, Atwood. Vehicle ran off road. Driver: Rodney J. Sellers, 34, Akron. Injuries: Sellers complained of arm pain. Damages: $5,000 to $10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
• 6:54 a.m. Sunday – Intersection of Lake City Highway and Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Two-vehicle rear-end collision. Driver: Phillip J. Armey, 43, Heron Boulevard, Warsaw; Thomas D. Smotheran, 37, Detroit. Injuries: Armey suffered bleeding to the face. Damages: $10,000 to $25,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 7:48 a.m. Saturday – 1695 W. Lake St., Warsaw. Vehicle hit parked car. Driver: Robert L. Howard, 64, Cambridge Drive, Warsaw. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD.
• 1:57 p.m. Saturday – 590 W. CR 300N, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Susan L. Rogers, 61, Albion; Patricia A. Shepherd, 69, West CR 900S, Claypool. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.
• 2:45 p.m. Saturday – Intersection of North Parker and East Main streets, Warsaw. Vehicle ran off road. Driver: Bryan M. Alonso, 18, North CR 175E, Warsaw. Damages: $5,000 to $10,000. WPD.

Facing off against Northern Lakes Conference Champions Northridge for the second time this season, the Warsaw girls soccer team had its work cut out for them in order to win the match and advance to the 3A sectional championship game at Elkhart. After a masterclass of a defensive performance as well as a timely goal, the Lady Tigers advanced with a 1-0 win.

County Council Adopts 2025 Budget
Kosciusko County Council wrapped up the county’s 2025 budget by adopting the ordinance for it on second reading Thursday evening. The first reading of the budget ordinance was held Sept. 12.
