County Jail Bookings
The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
- 4:24 a.m. Tuesday – Jennifer Lynn Miller, 34, of 1692 E. CR 200 N., Warsaw, arrested for driving while intoxicated and being a habitual traffic violator. Bond: $5,000.
- 12:26 p.m. Tuesday - Stephanie Lynn Cleveland, 24, of 334 E. CR 1250 N., Milford, arrested for theft. Bond: $1,000.
- 3:12 p.m. Tuesday - Nelson Patrick Blocher, 18, of 20 EMS T4 Lane, North Webster, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000.
- 4:10 p.m. Tuesday - Jeremiah Carl Whetstone, 32, of Plattsmouth, Neb., arrested for failure to appear in court. Bond: $1,000.
- 7:10 p.m. Tuesday - Angela Marie Fahrnow, 46, of 10754 N. Ogden Road, North Manchester, arrested for public intoxication and possession of marijuana. Bond: $450.
- 10:22 p.m. Tuesday - Rene Velazquez Coyomani, 39, of 4330 N. Old Road 15, Warsaw, arrested for battery and failure to appear in court. Bond: $250.
- 11:36 p.m. Tuesday - Paul Andrew Ruckman, 28, of 4980 E. CR 900 S., Claypool, arrested on an outstanding warrant. No bond set.

Property Damage Accidents
- 6 p.m. Tuesday - Interesection of Old Road 30 and CR 650 N., Warsaw. One vehicle struck a deer. Driver: Tony L. Sell, 55, of 905 N. Main St., Bourbon. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department investigated.
- 6:20 p.m. Tuesday - Intersection of Pierceton and Packerton roads, Winona Lake. One vehicle struck a deer. Driver: Shane M. Combs, 29, of 525 Oak Drive, Warsaw. Damage:$2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.

- 10:40 a.m. Tuesday - Officers responded to a report of theft in the 400 block of Chinworth Court, Warsaw.  WPD.

Warsaw Gets Past Goshen On Penalty Kicks, Advances
A September match between the Warsaw and Goshen girls soccer teams resulted in a 1-1 tie after a hard-fought match. Tuesday night, the two teams met for a second time on a much bigger stage: the opening round of the 3A girls soccer sectional tournament at Elkhart High School. With a winner having to emerge this time around, it came down to penalty kicks, with the Lady Tigers winning 5-3 after a 0-0 tie.
