 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 4:18 p.m. Tuesday – Jimmy Dean Lisenbee, 55, of 786 W. Center St., Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery. Bond: $1,000.
• 3:38 p.m. Tuesday – Vanessa Eileen Arnold, 19, of 318 W. Spring St., Etna Green, arrested for robbery and serious bodily injury. Bond: $17,500.
• 12:51 a.m. Wednesday – Jon Phillip Lackey, 46, of 4798 E. CR 500N, Rochester, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $300.

• 12:50 a.m. Tuesday – Intersection of North CR 150W and Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Vehicle struck deer. Driver: Mystia T. Martin, 18, West CR 250S 3, Warsaw. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
• 6:33 a.m. Tuesday – Intersection of Ind. 15 and Main Street, Silver Lake. Two-vehicle rear-end collision. Drivers: Joshua D. Dilsaver, 30, East 500N, Urbana; Jeremy R. Wagner, 39, Ind. 15, Wabash. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.
• 6:26 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of Ind. 15 and CR 1300W, Mentone. Vehicle struck deer. Driver: Eric W. Hollar, 48, Fir Road, Tippecanoe. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. KCSD.
• 7:09 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of Ind. 19 and Welch Road, Etna Green. Vehicle struck deer. Driver: Caleb M. Schwartz, 17, Ind. 13, Middlebury. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.
• 10:35 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of Ind. 10 and Ind. 19, Etna Green. Vehicle ran off road. Driver: Jon P. Lackey, 46, East CR 500N, Rochester. Damages: $10,000 to $25,000. KCSD.

• 3:16 a.m. Tuesday – A Warsaw man was reported for harassment in the 10400 block of Ind. 15, Silver Lake. KCSD.
• 7:28 a.m. Tuesday – A Winona Lake man was cited for reckless driving and speeding in the 1200 block of East CR 225S, Warsaw. Winona Lake Police Department investigated.
• 11:27 p.m. Tuesday – A Warsaw man was reported for a drug overdose in the 100 block of Main Street, North Webster. North Webster Police Department investigated.
• 12 p.m. Tuesday – A Winona Lake man reported his vehicle was entered but nothing was stolen in the 200 block of 14th Street, Winona Lake. WLPD.

County Council Adopts 2025 Budget
Kosciusko County Council wrapped up the county’s 2025 budget by adopting the ordinance for it on second reading Thursday evening. The first reading of the budget ordinance was held Sept. 12.

TVHS Renovations Expected To Be ‘Substantially Complete' By Month’s End
AKRON — Work on Tippecanoe Valley High School's renovation project should be "substantially complete" by the end of October, said The Skillman Corp. Project Manager Scott Rogers.
