n 5:03 p.m. Saturday – Detroit Street, 10 feet south of Center Street, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Stephen A. Barrett, 59, Heritage Lane, Warsaw; Humberto Muniz, 45, Stickney, Ill. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD.
n 7 p.m. Saturday – Lake City Highway, 32 feet east of North CR 150W, Warsaw. Vehicle struck deer. Driver: Larry E. Needler, 66, West CR 300N, Warsaw. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
n 10:41 p.m. Sunday – Lake City Highway, 50 feet west of North Parker Street, Warsaw. Vehicle slid off roadway into median, striking drainage grate. Driver: Steven H. Jachimiec, 56, Orland Park, Ill. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.

Sheriff Addressed Issues In The Jail Since Taking Office
Once taking office I knew how important it was going to be to have the right leadership in every division of the office, and the jail was certainly no exception. Upon taking office, I appointed Lt. Kevin Gelbaugh as the jail commander and Chad Marsh as the assistant jail commander, and to say I am proud of all their work and accomplishments would be an understatement.
