County Jail Bookings The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail: • 9:02 a.m. Tuesday – Sean D. Hershberger, 21, of 498 Clinic St., Warsaw, arrested for probation violation. Bond: $5,000. • 11:35 a.m. Tuesday – Miranda Marie Wakefield, 18, of 1006 Country Club Drive, Warsaw, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000. • 11:44 a.m. Tuesday – Erik Cuautle, 18, of 1692 E. CR 200N, 83, Warsaw, arrested for operator never licensed. No bond set. • 2:09 p.m. Tuesday – Kamista Briann Gibson, 22, of 600 N. Lake St., Warsaw, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000. • 3:03 p.m. Tuesday – Douglas Michael Holland, 45, Anderson, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $468.76. • 4:43 p.m. Tuesday – Breanna Arthen Hullinger, 18, of 103 W. Pearl St., Syracuse, arrested for theft. Bond: $750. Personal Injury Accidents • 4:06 p.m. Monday – Intersection of Ind. 13 and CR 600S, Sidney. Two-vehicle rear-end collision. Drivers: Stanley R. Mikel, 62, Parke View Lane, Bremen; Fred Shepherd, 53, Old Wabash Road, North Manchester. Injuries: Mikel suffered minor elbow and lower arm bleeding; Shepherd complained of back pain. Damages: $10,000 to $25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated. • 8:15 a.m. Tuesday – Intersection of South CR 400W and Ind. 14, Sidney. Driver ran off of the road. Driver: Matthew M. Smith, 36, West CR 1300N, Silver Lake. Injuries: Smith suffered from a cut lip and a broken tooth. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. KCSD. Property Damage Accidents • 12:58 p.m. Monday – Intersection of Syracuse Webster Road and Blacks Court, North Webster. Driver ran off of the road. Driver: Leslie A. Patrick, 35, Walnut Drive, North Webster. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD. • 2:04 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of North CR 300E and EMS D24 Lane, Syracuse. Two-vehicle rear-end collision. Drivers: Tiffany R. Cramer, 19, Manor Drive, Syracuse; David A. Melching, 53, EMS D24 Lane, Syracuse. Damages: $5,000 to $10,000. KCSD. Incidents • 10:46 a.m. Tuesday – A theft was reported in the 3300 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated. • 2:21 p.m. Tuesday – A Warsaw woman was arrested for theft in the 400 block of Buffalo Street, Warsaw. WPD.
