The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
- 2:03 p.m. Thursday – Samantha Elizabeth Vargas, 27, of 920 Anchorage Road, Warsaw, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000.
- 3:38 a.m. Friday – Nathan Daniel Wilson, 23, of 922 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, arrested for driving while intoxicated. Bond: $550.
- 3:50 a.m. Friday – Brandy Lynn Ross, 35, of 8607 Yellow View Lane, Claypool, arrested for battery on a law enforcement officer, public intoxication, resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct. Bond: $500.
- 4:13 a.m. Friday – Paul John Kurczbuch, 44, of 3276 W. Old 30, Warsaw, arrested for driving while intoxicated. Bond: $550.
Property Damage Accidents
- 5:53 p.m. Saturday – Intersection of CRs 300E and 700N, Leesburg. One vehicle struck a deer. Driver: Brenda A. Cramer, age not available, 602 S. Manor Drive, Syracuse. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department investigated.
- 10:27 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Packerton Road and CR 400S, Winona Lake. One vehicle struck a deer. Driver: Kyle D. Overman, 44, of Urbana. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. KCSD.[[In-content Ad]]
