 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
n 11:53 a.m. Friday – Richard Lynn Whetzel Sr., 62, Elkhart, arrested for theft – less than $100,000 in value and criminal conversion. Bond: $3,000.
n 12:10 p.m. Friday – Hector Baez Tinoco, 25, of 938 E. Clark St., Warsaw, arrested on two counts of failure to appear – original charge misdemeanor. Bond: $1,250.
n 12:15 p.m. Friday – Aaron Lee Gans, 26, of 103 W. Prairie St., Leesburg, arrested for interfering with custody – taking a child without a court order. Bond: $50,000.
n 12:28 p.m. Friday – Gage Edward Webb, 18, of 210 E. South St., Burket, arrested for dealing a schedule V controlled substance and possession of legend drug. Bond: $2,000.
n 2:10 p.m. Friday – Dannie Ray Woods, 56, of 7421 E. CR 1300N, Syracuse, arrested for child molestation – fondling a child under 14 years of age. Bond: $5,000.
n 3:50 p.m. Friday – Rasheen Kameo Boyd, 21, of 1401 Tippecanoe Drive 1, Warsaw, arrested for failure to stop after an accident. Bond: $1,000.
n 5:18 p.m. Friday – Timothy T. Sullivan, 32, of 61 Orchard Drive 8, Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended with prior. Bond: $300.
n 5:19 p.m. Friday – Nicholas Gale Damron, 18, of 437 E. High St., Etna Green, arrested for theft – less than $100,000 in value. Bond: $2,000.
n 7:30 p.m. Friday – Zachary Dale White, 21, of 700 S. Main St., North Webster, arrested for failure to appear – original charge misdemeanor. Bond: $969.

n 11:40 a.m. Friday – Intersection of North Detroit and East Fort Wayne streets, Warsaw. Three-vehicle collision. Drivers: George R. Ruckman, 17, EMS B42 Lane, Leesburg; Rosina M. Raisler, 68, Winchester Court, Winona Lake; Sally J. Kolar, 66, West CR 100N, Warsaw. Injuries: Kolar complained of neck pain and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

n 9:20 p.m. Thursday – Higbee Street, 50 feet South of Emeline Street, Milford. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Carolyn S. Wert, 59, South Higbee Street, Milford; Larry G. Haney, 75, West CR 1250N, Milford. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. Milford Police Department investigated.
n 1:20 p.m. Friday – Frontage Road, 900 feet east of Eastlake Drive, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Margaret A. Stone, 46, Harmony Court, Winona Lake; Christopher A. Lee, 19, Stella, N.C. Damages: $5,000 to $10,000. WPD.
