The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 11:52 a.m. Monday – Fred Hoyle III, 19, of 809 S. Main St., Milford, arrested for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. No bond set.
• 12:07 p.m. Monday – Christopher T. Masterson, 48, Huntington, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $138.50.
• 2:22 p.m. Monday – Ryan Ray Jarrell, 28, of 8266 E. CR 250S, Pierceton, arrested for probation violation. No bond set.
• 10:34 p.m. Monday – Joseph D. Andres, 50, of 2414 S. Lake Sharon Road, Warsaw, arrested for strangulation. Bond: $5,250.

• 1:5:20 p.m. Monday – Theft was reported at Meijer in the 1200 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
