• 1:14 a.m. Saturday – John Lee Houchin, 18, of 8612 N. CR 550E, Syracuse, arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $600.
• 8:40 a.m. Saturday – Ashley Dawn Pruitt, 23, of 608 E. Market St., Nappanee, arrested for false information. Bond: $600.
• 9:47 a.m. Saturday – Janie Maris Juana Gonzalez, 39, of 653 Walter Way, Warsaw, arrested for driving with a suspended license with prior offense. Bond: $450.
• 11:28 p.m. Saturday – Christopher Todd Warren, 27, of 54 EMS B38B Lane, Leesburg, arrested on a warrant. No bond set.  
• 11:29 p.m. Saturday – Lonnie Allen Burns, 43, of 10359 N. CR 500E, Syracuse, arrested for criminal recklessness. No bond set.
• 2:16 a.m. Sunday – Matthew Albert Lupton, 26, of 515 Turtle St., Syracuse, arrested for disorderly conduct – fighting. Bond: $500.
• 2:54 p.m. Sunday – Angelia M. Garcia, 24, of 11970 N. Camelot Lane, Cromwell, arrested for battery – deadly weapon. Bond: $10,250.
• 3:27 p.m. Sunday – Christopher Lynn Stephens, 39, of 3750 Lake City Highway, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.
• 3:56 p.m. Sunday – Buddy Allan Greer, 37, of 302 Turkey Creek Drive, Milford, arrested for driving with a suspended license. Bond: $450.
• 7:30 p.m. Sunday – Apolonio Corral Jr., 45, of 340 E. Levi Lee Road, Lot 197, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $600.
• 12:18 a.m. today – James H. Delacruz, 31, of 407 N. CR 700W, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $700.

• 12:02 a.m. Saturday – Intersection of Ind. 30 and Parker Street, Warsaw. Two-vehicle rear-end collision. Drivers: Janet Berrier, 57, Elkhart; Toria L. Schneider, 20, North Hickory Street, Warsaw. Injuries: Berrier complained of abdomen pain. Damages: $5,000 to $10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 6:53 a.m. Saturday – Intersection of Ranch Road and Kincaide Street, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Cheyenne N. Jackson, 18, West CR 550N, Warsaw; Barbara E. Heimbach, 49, St. Mary’s Drive, Warsaw. Injuries: Heimbach suffered minor bleeding from the face. Damages: $5,000 to $10,000. WPD.

Educational Signs Around Pike & Center Beaches Promote Lake Preservation & Protection
Educational signs along the Center Lake public beach and trail, and Pike Lake beach and the southern shore, cover a variety of lake science topics to get people thinking about what goes on in the lakes more than what they can see. Wednesday afternoon, a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the dozen signs took place at Pike Lake with representatives of the Warsaw Stormwater Utility, Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams, Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department, Mayor Jeff Grose and the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce.
