The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
- 5:23 p.m. Wednesday – Scott Charles McDowell, 47, of 105 N. Orchard Drive, Warsaw, arrested for theft. Bond: $5,000.
- 7 p.m. Wednesday – Sergio Garcia Acosta, 55, of 1897 W. CR 200S, Warsaw, arrested for not having a driver’s license. Bond: $350.
- 1:30 a.m. Thursday – Rena Ann Gerber, 33, of 597 S. Old 13, Pierceton, arrested for assisting a criminal. No bond set.

Property Damage Accidents
- 1:50 p.m. Tuesday - 700 Orthapedic Drive, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Michele R. Sikora, 37, of 5427 W. CR 55N, Warsaw; Janet A. Walton, 119 EMS B61 Lane, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
- 10:51 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Parker Street and U.S. 30E, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Michael A. Adams, 18, North Adams, Mich.; Victor C. Bustos, 25, of 518 Chinworth Court, Apt A, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.[[In-content Ad]]
