The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

- 9 a.m. Monday – Karen Gail Prater, 34, of 9464 S. Ind. 13, Claypool, arrested for forgery. Bond: $5,000.
- 11:36 a.m. Monday – Joshua Miller, 27, of 10189 W. CR 275S, Larwill, arrested for failure to appear in court. Bond: $750.
- 12:03 p.m. Monday – Shannon Marie Hunley, 36, South Bend, arrested for failure to appear in court. Bond: $1,000.
- 1:45 p.m. Monday – Mercedes Lynn Miller, 18, of 3762 W. Old 30, lot 117, Warsaw, arrested for possession of marijuana. Bond: $450.
- 2:15 p.m. Monday – Eunice Purata Arroyo, 18, of 3762 W. Old 30, lot 6W, arrested for driving under the influence. Bond: $550.

Property Damage Accidents
- 8:47 a.m. Monday – 315 Detroit St., Warsaw. Pickup-car collision. Drivers: Rex A. Mauk, 51, CR 400E, Pierceton; Frederico Presteguin, 42, of 1803 Lavista Drive, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
- 11:59 a.m. Monday – Intersection of Ind. 15N and Lyon Street, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Robert G. Coble, 79, of 1108 Kuder Lane, Warsaw; Janet E. Gensinger, 57, of 2202 Isle View Drive, Winona Lake. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. WPD.
- 3:58 p.m. Monday – Intersection of Smith and Scott streets, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Trenton A. Jackson, 16, CR 450W, Claypool; Melissa M. Gunter, 41, of 1891 W. Walnut Drive, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. WPD.
- 7:15 p.m. Monday – Intersection of U.S. 30W and Center Street. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Adam Fedorow, 35, Goshen; Myrna S. Henderson, 73, of 3345 N. Ind.13, Pierceton. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. WPD.
- 5:50 a.m. Tuesday - Intersection of Armstrong Road and EMS T 25 Lane, Leesburg. One vehicle struck a deer. Driver: Kevin L. Koher, 52, of 9001 E. Kyle Road, Pierceton. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department investigated.

- 10:33 p.m. Sunday – Warsaw Police Department Ptl. Jeffrey Tricknor reported a drunk driver. WPD.
- 5:54 p.m. Monday – Elizabeth Snider Pittman, Warsaw, reported her passenger side window of her car being shattered and her purse stolen. WPD.

Sheriff Addressed Issues In The Jail Since Taking Office
Once taking office I knew how important it was going to be to have the right leadership in every division of the office, and the jail was certainly no exception. Upon taking office, I appointed Lt. Kevin Gelbaugh as the jail commander and Chad Marsh as the assistant jail commander, and to say I am proud of all their work and accomplishments would be an understatement.
