 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
n 1:35 p.m. Wednesday – Gregory W. Sasso, 53, of 2013 North Bay Drive, Warsaw, arrested for battery resulting in bodily injury. Bond: $1,000.
n 3:10 p.m. Wednesday – Germaine Isabelle Wilson, 52, of 537 Railside Drive, Syracuse, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $300.
n 4:19 p.m. Wednesday – Shanna Elizabeth Rogers, 34, of 5872 E. CR 500N, Leesburg, arrested on two counts of driving while suspended. Bond: $1,050.

n 5:33 a.m. Wednesday – West CR 1350N, 500 feet east of North CR 600W, Nappanee. Driver fell asleep and drove into bean field. Driver: David R. Hochstetler, 22, 6th Road, Bourbon. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.
n 7:19 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of West Winona Avenue and South Harding Street, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: William R. Newton, 17, East Pontiac Drive, Warsaw; Kendra R. Burns, 16, North Lake Street, Warsaw. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
n 7:30 a.m. Wednesday – East CR 1300S, 500 feet east of South Packerton Road, Silver Lake. Vehicle struck deer. Driver: Jamie L. France, 39, East CR 1500N, North Manchester. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. KCSD.
n 7:36 a.m. Wednesday – Lake City Highway, 450 feet west of South Circle Drive East, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Duane A. Strasser, 31, Laketon; Michael L. Scott, 43, Columbia City. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.
