The driver in a fatal traffic accident that occurred on Memorial Day tested positive for marijuana, according to police.
Toxicology reports were received by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department today for Dexter Lee Anglin, 17, of Syracuse.
Kosciusko County Sheriff Aaron Rovenstine said information from the report will be forwarded to the Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office for review and to determine whether charges will be filed.
Anglin was the driver in a one-car accident in which all six occupants of the car were ejected. A back-seat passenger in the car, Tara Likens, 19, of North Webster, died May 27 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, as a result of the injuries she suffered in the May 26 accident.
Police said the accident occurred when Anglin lost control of the car while driving at a high rate of speed and the car rolled over several times. [[In-content Ad]]
