Robert and Linda Porterfield, Coopersville, Mich., announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebekah Porterfield, Coopersville, to Nathan Long, Warsaw. He is the son of Robert and Wendy Long, Warsaw.

The bride-to-be graduated from Coopersville High School in 2006, and graduated from Grace College, Winona Lake, with a bachelor's degree in music education Dec. 17, 2010.

The groom-elect is a 2005 Warsaw Community High School graduate and will earn a bachelor's degree in pre-medical biology from Grace College in May 2011.

The couple plan a June 4, 2011, wedding.
