Robert and Martha Porter, Branchland, W.Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sherlena Jean Porter, to Robert Hollis Johnson. He is the son of Raymond and Rachael Kelley, West Hamlin, W.Va., and Michael and Jennifer Simmons, Cromwell.

The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of LCHS, Hamlin, W.Va. She currently is a homemaker.

The groom-elect is employed by Applachian Gas and Oil.

The couple plan a July 12 wedding at East Lynn Lake, East Lynn, W.Va. The couple's daughter, Chelsie Ann Porter-Johnson, will help escort the bride down the aisle.[[In-content Ad]]
