Della Pollock, Pierceton, announces the engagement of her daughter, Melissa S. Pollock, Pierceton, to Chauncey A. Robinson, Pierceton. He is the son of Priscilla Robinson  and the late Jewell Robinson. Melissa also is the daughter of the late Roger Pollock.

The bride-to-be is a child care provider at Silveus Child Care, Pierceton. She graduated from Whitko High School, South Whitley, in 2000 and is studying health care administration at Brown Mackie College, Fort Wayne, graduating in 2013.

The groom-elect is a supervisor at Applied Thermal Technology, Warsaw. He graduated from Whitko High School, South Whitley.
