Police Respond to Two-Vehicle Crash Sunday

July 28, 2016 at 4:25 p.m.


The Warsaw Police Department responded to a two-vehicle collision Sunday at 2:25 p.m. at the intersection of Detroit Street and Anchorage Road. Anthony Click, 45, Warsaw, was traveling northbound on Detroit Street and proceeded through the intersection when he collided with a southbound vehicle turning east onto Anchorage Road. The vehicle traveling southbound overturned and collided with a traffic light and a traffic signal box. The passengers in the southbound vehicle allegedly took items, later identified as drug paraphernalia, and threw them into a creek. Officers are still investigating to determine who was the driver of the southbound vehicle, but all three passengers, Cody Hale, 26, North Webster; Megan Slone, 25, Milford; and James Britt, 32, Warsaw, were transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital.
