Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department Friday executed a search warrant on a second residence in connection with an earlier theft arrest.

Police searched the Mark Slone residence on CR 700W Friday after receiving information linking him to the alleged thefts.

Mark is the brother of Brian Slone who was arrested Thursday on charges of burglary, theft and possession of precursors to manufacture methamphetamine. The Thursday arrest came after police responded to a domestic disturbance at Mark Slone's Diamond Lake residence.

Information gained during that investigation led officers to search Brian Slone's residence where more than $60,000 in construction tools and equipment was recovered.

In the Friday search at Mark Slone's home, police reported finding anhydrous ammonia and Sudafed¨, both ingredients in methamphetamine. Police also recovered several thousand dollars worth of construction tools and equipment believed to be stolen.

The amount of goods recovered between the two searches has filled the entire sheriff's department warehouse, police said.

After the goods are processed, investigators will begin contacting victims. They ask victims to be patient, as they expect the process to take most of this week.

Victims are asked to start assembling any receipts or paperwork for missing items to ensure a timely recovery. [[In-content Ad]]
