Police Probe Burglary At Cycle Shop

PIERCETON - Police are investigating a burglary and theft at Maverick Motorcycle, U.S. 30, Pierceton.

Around 3:55 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a call about a break-in at the Pierceton business.

The store's owner, Robert Wagner, told police he closed the store at 4 p.m. Saturday, and when he returned to the business at 3 p.m. Sunday, he discovered damage to exterior doors.

Telephone lines outside the business were cut, the northwest door had been forced open, and several items had been stolen.

Items stolen included four Harley-Davidson motorcycles, a recreational vehicle, a two-axle trailer, collectible cars, new and used motorcycle models and collectible beer cans.[[In-content Ad]]
