MILFORD – Police arrested a Milford man Wednesday on felony burglary charges.
Robert Boatright, 24, of 10937 N. CR 200E, Milford, was arrested at approximately 5:16 p.m. Wednesday and preliminarily charged with felony burglary after a lengthy investigation by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, according to a sheriff’s department release. He was held on a $10,000 bond.
Numerous residences in the Turkey Creek Township/Lake Wawasee area had been burglarized through the winter and spring months of 2014.  A break came in the multiple theft cases when a North Webster police officer initiated a traffic stop in May, during which information related to potential suspects was obtained and given to sheriff's detectives.
As the investigation progressed during the summer, evidence connecting Boatwright to various thefts and burglaries was obtained, along with DNA that had been analyzed by the Indiana State Police Laboratory. Kosciusko County Sheriff's detectives were able to obtain a burglary warrant on Boatwright that was served by Milford police Wednesday.
The investigation is ongoing and  additional potential suspects in the burglaries are being looked into, according to detectives.
