The Grants for Great Hours is part of PNC Bank’s Grow Up Great effort encouraging employees to volunteer with their local nonprofit early education and school readiness programs. Warsaw’s PNC Branch Manager Angie Robbins has spent the past three years volunteering at Head Start. She serves on the Head Start Policy Council, reads to children and has helped create a financial literacy program at which she and other PNC employees work with the children to help them learn basics about money, such as how much a quarter is worth. The grant recognizes Robbins’ commitment to Head Start. Pictured (L to R) are: Angie Robbins, PNC branch manager, presenting the grant check of $1,000 to Head Start Coordinator Lynne Dittman.
