Larry and Dorothy Plummer will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Thursday.
Larry and the former Dorothy Stephens were married Sept. 18, 1954, in Larwill at the Stephens farm by the Rev. Gillespie.
In 2003, Larry retired from the Warsaw Parks Dept. and Dorothy retired from the Warsaw post office.
They are the parents of five children: Sherry (and spouse John) Heaton, Lora Shelton, Pamela Miller, Larry (and spouse Mary Lou) Plummer and Shelly Plummer.
Larry enjoys the Cubs and football. Dorothy enjoys her many flower beds, quilting and puzzles, and they both enjoy NASCAR. They both also enjoy their family, which consists of 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
The couple plan to celebrate their anniversary with family.

A September match between the Warsaw and Goshen girls soccer teams resulted in a 1-1 tie after a hard-fought match.
