Robert and Joan Plew, 9674 E. CR 150S, Pierceton, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary April 2, 2010. Robert and the former Joan Mettler were married April 2, 1960, at the Methodist Church, Pierceton, by the Rev. O.S. Crain.

Robert is a retired truck driver. Joan is a retired bookkeeper. Together they owned the antique store "The Curiosity Shop" in Pierceton, from 1979-2005.

They have a daughter, Jo Ellen (and spouse Jerry) Deaton, Warsaw; and two grandsons.
