I heard commentators on CNN wonder if Republican presidential candidates would pass the presidential test. But would Obama pass it?
Obama is not a natural-born American since his father was not an American citizen. The writers of the Constitution didn’t want a future president to have divided loyalty if a parent’s citizenship swayed his decisions. Obama isn’t eligible to be president and Hillary might have been elected president in 2008 if Obama had to drop out for this fact. Since all the legislation Obama passed, including Obamacare, was signed by an illegitimate president, maybe it can be rescinded by the legal president in 2017.
Presidents must obey and defend the entire Constitution; not just parts of it. Would you want a fire department to extinguish only certain homes and let your house burn to the ground?
Presidents should strengthen the economy and make it more secure. As senator, Obama may have supported the actions that crashed the economy in 2008. Fewer people might be employed when Obama leaves office than when he entered office. His economic policies could crash the economy again, only worse.
Presidents should promote domestic tranquility. Obama has been divisive. And since he supports the extermination of black lives in the womb in abortion clinics, he betrays his own race.
Presidents should keep America militarily strong and enhance the image America has in the world. Terrorists have entered America. He has degraded our military. America seems more like a joke than a superpower. Iran will have nuclear weapons thanks to Obama.
If things get much worse in the future due to Obama’s actions, fewer people may admit they voted for him. The press might turn against him. But it may have selective memory or blame others for the problems Obama can be blamed for.
People fear what a President Trump would do. Ted Cruz may be too much a Constitutionalist and could restrict himself too much. If Hillary loses, people might remind her she would have been president in 2008 instead of the ineligible Obama.
Obama has pretty much failed the presidential test. But he won’t be removed from office. Pray that the next legitimate president doesn’t make things worst and maybe can clean up Obama’s messes.
