Pilgrims Hand NorthWood NLC Loss

PLYMOUTH -ÊPlymouth's boys basketball team (3A No. 10) handed NorthWood (3A No. 4) its first Northern Lakes Conference loss of the season Friday. The Pilgrims defeated the Panthers 52-49.

After scoring the first 11 points of the fourth quarter, the Panthers cut Plymouth's lead to one. However, NorthWood was unable to get any closer as Plymouth went on to earn the three-point win.

Rory Clouse attempted a three-pointer at the buzzer, but the shot fell short.

Charlie Roeder netted 20 points for the Panthers before he fouled out.

The Panthers and Pilgrims now sport identical records at 11-3 overall and 3-1 in the NLC.
