Pike Lake Pointe Apartments, sponsored by Cardinal Center Inc., celebrated their grand opening Tuesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a Warsaw/Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce "Business After Hours." Jane Greene, president of Cardinal Center, said, "We're proud of our facilities and we intend to be good neighbors."

Following the ribbon-cutting, one-, two- and three-bedroom units were open for viewing. The apartments offer lakeside living on Pike Lake, adjacent to the Pete Thorn Center in Lucerne Park. All units are equipped with washers and dryers and have a private balcony or patio with a large storage room. On-site resident enrichment programs are available in the club room, which is equipped with a complete kitchen. In addition to Cardinal Center, resident enrichment participants and other supporters include Combined Community Services, First Steps of Kosciusko County, Goodwill Industries, Kosciusko Area Bus Services, Kosciusko Community Senior Services, Lake City Bank, Warsaw Housing Authority and the YMCA.

The 64 apartments, already 89 percent occupied, are available to individuals or families meeting income maximums ranging from $25,140 to $41,700, based upon family size. The income schedule also includes reduced rents for income levels lower than the maximum. A low security deposit is required.

The units will be inspected four times each year. The property is managed by Guardian Management LLC. For more information, call the Pike Lake Pointe office at 269-7866. [[In-content Ad]]
