PIERCETON – Pierceton Elementary kindergarten open house for the 2014-15 school year will be April 15 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Parents and guardians should attend this meeting if they are planning to send their child to kindergarten in August.
Along with meeting teachers and seeing the classrooms, vision exams will be provided by Pierceton Lion's Club/IU Medical Center for children ages 6 and under. A vision exam is required for kindergarten and you can get it done free at the open house.
Students need to be 5 years old by Aug. 1 to meet the kindergarten age requirements.[[In-content Ad]]
