MILFORD - Phyllis Grace Tilbury, 75, of Warsaw, and formerly of Milford, died at 2:39 a.m. Feb. 7, 2010, in Warsaw Meadows.

She was born Oct. 1, 1934, in DeMoine, Iowa, to Henry R. and Hazel R. Childers Collins. On June 20, 1957, she married Eugene Tilbury, who survives.

She moved to the Milford area from Hammond in January 1989. She was a loan officer for Inland Employees Federal Credit Union for 20 years, retiring Nov. 8, 1988. She formerly attended Trinity Lutheran Church, Ligonier. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and gardening. She loved cats and especially her Boston Terriers.

Also surviving are two sons, James (and spouse Misuk) Tilbury, Milford, and Jonathan Collins, South Carolina; a daughter, Sherri (and spouse Bruce) Obacz, Milford; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford, with Pastor Jack Barthel officiating. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery.

Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
