Phyllis Diane Wagley, 62, of 6129 Heron Blvd., Warsaw, died at 7:10 p.m. Aug. 29, 2008, in her residence.

She was born Feb. 5, 1946, in Fremont, Ohio, to Aurthur Henry and Esther Cole Shull, who preceded her in death. On July 16, 1966, she married Allen Cletus Wagley, who survives in Warsaw.

A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she retired from Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw, and Flex-Steel, Milford. She was a 1964 graduate of Warsaw High School. She was a member of Atwood Aldersgate United Methodist Church and attended Warsaw Community Church. She was a member of the Atwood Home Study Extension Homemakers from 1990 until the present, a county board member from 1999-2008, and a county president from 2003-2004. In 2002, she was homemaker of the year, and was a 60-year member of American Legion Post 49 Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed doing work for the VA hospitals and local EMS.

Also surviving are three sons: Michael (and spouse Misty) Wagley, Warsaw; Gary Wagley, Staunton, Va.; and Robert (and spouse Penny) Wagley, Akron; a brother, David Shull, Syracuse; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
