SYRACUSE – Phyllis Ann Eastman, 63, Goshen, passed away April 29, 2015, in North Webster.
She was born Jan. 21, 1952, in Noblesville, to Raymond E. and Virginia Mae Heiny Shreve. On April 20, 2011, in Goshen, she married Robert K. Eastman, who survives.
She moved to the Goshen area 39 years ago from Anderson. She was the owner of Phyllis’ Lawn Care for over 30 years, and was an avid gardener.
Also surviving are a son, Charles E. (and spouse Megan) Dawson, Syracuse; two stepsons, Jessie Maule, LaPorte, and Tyler (and Brittney Hurst) Maule, Syracuse; one grandson, Ethan Dawson; two step-grandchildren; her mother, Virginia Mae Lee, Goshen; a sister, Raemona Parkhurst, Anderson; three brothers: Denny (and spouse LuAnn) Shreve, South Whitley; Russell Shreve, Cromwell; and Roger Shreve, Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her father.
Services will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, with Pastor Sam Carns of Open Bible Baptist Church officiating.
Calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
