AKRON - Phyllis A. Nette, 75, of Life Care Center, Rochester, formerly of 11219 E. CR 50N, Akron, died at 6:32 a.m. Feb. 21, 2008, in the emergency room at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.

She was born June 18, 1932, in Mentone, to Glen and Minnie McClone Holloway. On Jan. 10, 1955, in Warsaw, she married Rollin E. Nette, who passed away Oct. 18, 1997.

She was a homemaker and a graduate of Beaver Dam High School. She loved fishing and crocheting.

Surviving are three daughters: Patti (and spouse Ricci) Swihart, Gilead; Lori Cox, Akron; and Dianna Powell (and companion Joh Batta), Plymouth; two sons: Robert Nette, Akron; Jeffrey (and spouse Amy) Nette, Milford; a sister, Barbara (and spouse Sava) Rudo, Akron; four brothers: Bernard (and spouse Linda) Holloway, Palestine; Dean (and spouse Sylvia) Holloway, Rochester; Don (and spouse Loretta) Holloway and Rodney (and spouse BevAnn) Holloway, all of Warsaw; eight grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter and a brother, Bud Holloway.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron, with Pastor David Cripe officiating. Burial will be at Nichols Cemetery, Akron.

Calling is from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
