Scott and Pam Peters, Leesburg, recently announced the engagement of their daughter, Melinda Peters, Leesburg, to Matthew Henke, Goshen. He is the son of Bob and Carrie Hanke, Goshen.

The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and currently attends Purdue University, West Lafayette, where she is pursiung a bachelor's degree in nursing.

The groom-elect is employed by Rieth-Riley Construction Co. Inc., Gary. He is a 2003 graduate of NorthWood High School, Nappanee. He received a bachelor's degree in construction engineering and management from Purdue University, West Lafayette, in 2007.
