It seems that someone who calls me hateful is either blinded by their misconceptions - or blinded by the reality that has been crafted. Some person believes that my linking Progressivism to Nazism is hateful. Her hatred of Glenn Beck is due to the fact that of all the people in the mainstream media, he is the one of the only one who is not lying down to the government. My reason is backed up by history, something that she does not fully understand.

If she would have done any research, she would have found the Nazi Party platform. The platform states that the Nazis were for the state to provide full employment to all citizens (defined by the Nazis as people of German blood) of the Reich. They supported anti-immigration and demanded that all non-Germans who entered after August 1914 leave Germany. The Nazis were also in favor of "communalizing large department stores," government takeover of land and the elevation of national health. All of these things, along with the rest of their platform, were to be controlled by the state.

Further research will show that the Socialists are for the same basic ideas as the Nazi Party. Are they linked to Progressivism? Ideas that the Progressives were touting even back in the early part of the 20th Century included such things as bring about federal control, "problems beyond the reach of the several states," single national health care and "prosperity conferred to all citizens, not individuals or classes." Do these policies sound familiar? Nazism and Socialism just incorporated Progressivism ideals and vice versa.

She also further claims that Progressives are against lobbyists and corporations influencing government, yet how come President Obama is touting the very ideas that Progressives have long yearned for, and the president has surrounded himself with lobbyists to write the proposals he advocates. Advisers, who look to Chairman Mao for inspiration, want to replace the capitalist system that created this country with a socialist system that has brought Europe to the brink of collapse and have called for the redistribution of wealth. She claims she is against big government, yet supports a health care plan that will make up one-sixth of the nation's economy. How can someone claim to be for smaller government, yet back one of the largest expansions of federal power since the New Deal?

Am I hateful? Read my words - all I have done has been an advocate for freedom. Then read someone who has openly disagreed with me - and ask if she supports what I believe. Our history is not pure and the United States has engaged in polices that as an American I am ashamed of. However, our past and our future are under attack. The choice is either a Progressive total government; or the Republic which our Founders envisioned. Someone may think I am hateful, but if the avocation of freedom is hateful; I wear that label as a badge of honor!
